This morning, First Lady Michelle Obama announced a national campaign to tackle the challenge of childhood obesity, called “Let’s Move!” 
 
This is an exciting time to be involved in efforts to help children lead healthier lives.  The First Lady is deeply committed to children’s health and has taken on the issue of promoting a healthy weight in children.  The Let’s Move! campaign announced this morning will help parents make healthy family choices, increase opportunities for children and families to be physically active, ensure our kids have access to healthy meals in their schools, and help increase access to affordable, quality, and nutritious foods.
