JUMPING

Jumping is a great way to exercise. It works the muscles, gets the heart rate going and stimulates the lymph system which helps the body prevent disease.

Jumping ideas
(all suggestions presume appropriate supervision and participation by an adult as well as any necessary safety precautions):


Jumping Rope 
*jumping and skipping
*fast/slow
*try it backwards if doing it solo
*add music

*chinese jump rope game
*find a jump rope


Trampoline
*jump on a mini trampoline if no big one is accessible (many affordable minis out
there)
*sing songs, count, spell, rhyme while jumping
*a mattress with springs works well too (an old one on the floor is great)

*find a mini trampoline
